Our Target Market Has Changed
In the last few years, our target market was, primarily, multi-unit residential income properties – apartment buildings. I am now seeing a shift, in focus, to office, medical, commercial & industrial properties, for condo conversion.
If you own or are looking at this market, you are in luck. Generally, it is easier and with less mandated requirements, to do a commercial condo conversion.
This shift is due the the attitude of many city councils and planning departments, who are now invoking moratoriums, more restrictive requirements and higher fees, on apartment conversions – because they believe conversions reduce their low-income rental housing stock.
